Physio For Kids

Many children can benefit from physiotherapy to support their growth, independence and participation in everyday activities. This includes children with:

  • Developmental or gross motor skills delays

  • Developmental and physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Neuromuscular conditions or Spina Bifida

  • Movement concerns

  • Persistent pain

  • Musculoskeletal problems

Our Services

Busy Bodies provides supports to children from birth to 18 years old. Services can be based in a variety of settings such as:

  • Clinic

  • Home

  • School or childcare

  • Community settings–parks, playgrounds etc

  • Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre

The types of services that may be needed as part of a child’s Physiotherapy include:

  • Gross motor skills assessment

  • Development of home programs

  • Physiotherapy sessions working towards functional goals

  • Equipment prescription (eg wheelchairs, walkers, seating, footwear, orthotics)

  • Report writing and referral to other services

Meet Kate Webb

Founder & Principal Physiotherapist

Kate is a dedicated physiotherapist and a proud mum of two energetic children. Withover 25 years of experience working as a Physio with kids, she brings a wealth of expertise from diverse clinical settings including community disability services, public hospitals in Australia and the UK, and the not-for-profit sector. Passionate about best practice, Kate is committed to ongoing professional development and strives to translate the latest evidence into effective, child-centred care. She believes in making therapy fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths, helping every young person reach their fullest potential.

Fees


Our Physiotherapy services, including travel time, are charged at $183.99 per hour. This rate follows the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Price Limit and may be updated if the NDIS Price Limit changes.

  • Busy Bodies is not a registered service provider, but can provide services to children with Plan Managed or Self Managed NDIS Plans.

  • Depending on your policy, you may be entitled to a rebate from your Private Health Insurance provider for some of the cost of services. Please contact your Health Insurance provider for more information.

  • Partial rebates for services are available for children attending with a GP Management Plan. There will still be a gap fee to pay.
